Settings we build for
Day nursery website design
Full-day care, 51 weeks a year, baby rooms and the 30 funded hours from nine months. The website has to carry an itemised fees page, a room for every age, and a waiting list that reaches the office.
A day nursery website needs a page for every room with ages and ratios, an itemised fees and funded hours page built to the April 2026 DfE charging rules, your opening hours and weeks in the header, the Ofsted report card, a waiting list form that reaches the office, and a page for each district you draw from. Ours start at £1,495 and go live in two to five weeks.
What this build gets right
The baby room page
Fifty-eight per cent of nurseries say they cannot meet baby room demand (NDNA, June 2025). Parents of under-twos are your longest customers and your most anxious readers. The page shows ratios, the key person approach, sleep and feeding routines, and the settling-in process, answer first.
Fees the April 2026 way
Full-day settings have the most complicated charges: stretched offers, term-time only, meals, nappies, extra hours. The page separates funded hours from paid hours and lists every extra as voluntary with the opt-out, per the DfE guidance, and the invoice mirrors it.
Waiting list into your software
Famly, Ovivio and eyworks waiting lists embedded, so a parent joining at 20 weeks pregnant is in the system on the day.
Hours and weeks, prominently
Opening at 7.30am matters more to a commuting parent than most of what nurseries write about themselves. It goes in the header of every page.

How a build runs, start to finish
Four steps. You see a fixed price and a page plan before anything is designed.
1. Tell us about your nursery
Four details in the form. Then a short brief: rooms, ages, fees, funded hours, any software you use, the towns you draw from.
2. You get your quote
A fixed price, a page plan and a live date, within one working day. No call, unless you want one.
3. Design and build
You see a design first. Two rounds of revisions. Then we build every page and connect your enquiry form to your software.
4. Live in 2 to 6 weeks
We handle domain and hosting. You get a written handover and a care plan from £50 a month.
Bring us a look you like, or nothing at all
A competitor's site you admire, a colour, a mood board, a photo of your baby room. We design around it. These six show the range, not the menu. Pick one as a starting point, bring a site you love, or describe something nobody has built yet. You are never limited to these six: we design whatever your nursery needs.

Firefly Nursery
The team designed and developed our new website and continue to work with us on an ongoing basis through their SEO and AI Visibility package. They’re helping us strengthen our presence on Google and across emerging AI search platforms, so more local parents can discover our nursery online. It’s great having one team looking after both our website and our long-term digital visibility.
Oak Tree Nursery
We wanted a website that really captured the warmth and personality of our nursery and gave parents confidence in choosing us. The finished website does exactly that. It showcases our setting beautifully, explains what we offer clearly and makes it incredibly easy for prospective parents to arrange a visit or get in touch.
More enquiries from local parents
Our new website has made a huge difference to our online presence. Parents can quickly understand what makes our nursery special and easily take the next step to arrange a visit. We’ve had fantastic feedback on how professional, welcoming and easy to use the website is.
Questions nursery owners ask
What should a day nursery website say about the 30 hours?
Who qualifies (eligible working parents, from nine months, since September 2025), how many weeks you spread them over, what a stretched offer looks like in your setting, and exactly what is charged for on top, as voluntary extras. A worked example for a typical week does more than a paragraph of policy.
How do you handle a waiting list on the site?
Through your software's waiting list form where it has one (Famly, Ovivio, eyworks, Nursery in a Box), embedded on the admissions page. Otherwise a form that emails the office and records the requested start date and room.
Can the site show which rooms have spaces?
As a line you update from the care plan or yourself, yes. No nursery software publishes a live public availability feed, so we do not pretend to.
How much does a nursery website cost?
A nursery website in the UK costs between about £1,000 and £6,000 as a one-off build, plus £20 to £60 a month to keep it running. Ours are £1,495 for a single setting of up to eight pages, £2,995 for an established nursery and £5,995 for a group of two or more, with a £50 a month care plan on top. Monthly-only offers from £15 to £40 exist, but you usually rent the site rather than own it.
How long does it take to build a nursery website?
Two to five weeks for a single setting, three to five for an established nursery, four to six for a group. The clock starts when your brief is complete. The slow part is almost always waiting for fees, room details and staff names, so the faster you send those the sooner it is live.
Will our website meet Ofsted and EYFS requirements?
Ofsted does not inspect or approve websites, so no website is "Ofsted compliant" and you should be careful of anyone selling that phrase. What a website can do is show your inspection outcome accurately. Since November 2025 inspections produce a colour-coded report card across evaluation areas instead of one overall word, so we build the section to display the areas and link to your published report.
Do we own the website at the end?
Yes. On completion and full payment the files are yours, as plain HTML with no proprietary platform to be locked into. Domains we register go in your name where the registrar allows it, and transfer to you free of charge whenever you ask, including if you stop the care plan.
Do we have to write the content?
No. We draft every page from your brief and you edit it in writing. Fees pages use your numbers. We will not write a claim, an award or a review you cannot substantiate, and we will say so rather than quietly writing it anyway.
