Nursery website design in West London

Nursery and pre-school websites built for six West London boroughs, from the central streets of Westminster out to Hillingdon.

Who builds nursery websites across West London?

We do, from a base covering the 6 areas of West London listed below, between them holding 2,400 nurseries and pre-schools within 6 km of their centres. The busiest single phrase across the region is "nursery ealing" at 480 searches a month. Every setting gets its own pages for its own neighbourhoods, at a fixed £1,495 to £5,995, live in two to six weeks.

Nursery counts: claimed Google Maps listings within 6 km of each centre, summed, via DataforSEO, September 2026. Circles overlap in inner London. Search figures: Google Ads data via DataforSEO, United Kingdom, September 2026.

West London holds 2,400 nurseries within 6 km of the centres we cover, circles overlap in inner London. Nearly half of those sit inside Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea, the two most tightly packed circles on our whole map. Further west, along the A4 and the Piccadilly line, the spread loosens and a well-run setting can become the obvious name for a whole district.

The West London market

The West London picture is lopsided. Westminster counts 667 settings and Kensington and Chelsea 625, yet parent search for those borough names is modest, with 110 and 90 monthly searches respectively according to Google Ads data via DataforSEO, September 2026. Ealing is the reverse: 359 settings and the region's strongest search figure at 480 a month, with the priciest clicks too at £9.26. Hounslow follows on 260 searches and Hillingdon on 210, where parents search for Uxbridge rather than the borough. Brent, with 352 settings, records just 50 searches and a click cost of £3.04. The lesson for an owner is that central density does not translate into borough-level search, while the outer boroughs carry both volume and value.

What is different about West London

Inner West London has more settings per square mile than almost anywhere in England, with nannies, private pre-preps and nursery chains all competing for the same families. Fees around Notting Hill and Chelsea sit at the top of the national range, which makes the funded-hours question sharper than usual: 30 hours from nine months at the government rate leaves a gap that owners must explain. The April 2026 DfE charging rules mean that explanation now has to be written down and published, not delivered at the tour. Out towards Ealing, Hounslow and Uxbridge the pressure is different, with more space, more school-run traffic and more parents searching by town.

Questions from West London

Our Kensington nursery charges well above the funded rate. How does a West London website handle that?

With a fees page that states the published charges, lists the voluntary extras and shows exactly how the funded hours are applied, as the DfE rules from April 2026 require. Parents in West London are used to high fees but not to vague ones. Clear numbers on the page tend to bring better-matched enquiries.

Can you embed our Famly enquiry form on a West London nursery site?

Yes. We embed Famly, Ovivio, eyworks and Nursery in a Box forms directly into the page, so an enquiry from a parent in Ealing or Hounslow lands in the system your office already uses. There is no separate inbox to check.

What does the SEO retainer cover for a West London setting?

£497 a month covers 10 keywords, or £1,997 covers 50, and both include AI visibility work so the setting is described accurately when parents ask assistants for nurseries near them. For a single-site nursery in Hillingdon or Brent, 10 keywords usually covers the district names that matter. The care plan for hosting and updates is separate at £50 a month.

How much does a nursery website cost?

A nursery website in the UK costs between about £1,000 and £6,000 as a one-off build, plus £20 to £60 a month to keep it running. Ours are £1,495 for a single setting of up to eight pages, £2,995 for an established nursery and £5,995 for a group of two or more, with a £50 a month care plan on top. Monthly-only offers from £15 to £40 exist, but you usually rent the site rather than own it.

How long does it take to build a nursery website?

Two to five weeks for a single setting, three to five for an established nursery, four to six for a group. The clock starts when your brief is complete. The slow part is almost always waiting for fees, room details and staff names, so the faster you send those the sooner it is live.

How do you advertise your nursery?

Most enquiries start with a parent searching for childcare near a place they already know: a station, a school, a high street. In practical order that means a page for each district you draw from, a Google Business Profile kept current, real reviews from current parents, a fees page a parent can read at 10pm without ringing you, and listings on the directories parents actually use. Paid ads work but are rented: "nursery chelmsford" costs £4.43 a click.

Do we own the website at the end?

Yes. On completion and full payment the files are yours, as plain HTML with no proprietary platform to be locked into. Domains we register go in your name where the registrar allows it, and transfer to you free of charge whenever you ask, including if you stop the care plan.
