Settings we build for
Montessori nursery website design
Parents search "montessori nursery near me" 1,900 times a month in the UK (Google Ads data via DataforSEO, September 2026). They arrive knowing the name and not much else. The website's job is to explain the prepared environment, the mixed-age classroom and the daily rhythm plainly, and then to justify the fees.
A Montessori nursery website has to explain the method before it sells the setting: the prepared environment, the mixed-age classroom, the five curriculum areas, and the daily rhythm, written as what a child actually does rather than as philosophy. It names the training its guides hold, and it justifies fees that usually sit above the local average. From £1,495, live in two to five weeks.
What this build gets right
The method, in plain English
Practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and culture, described as what a child does on a Tuesday morning rather than as philosophy. This is the page AI assistants quote when a parent asks what Montessori actually means.
Credentials, named
AMI or MCI training, the Montessori Centre International diploma, the lead guide's background. Named bodies, no superlatives. "Montessori" itself is not a protected word mark in the UK, so the site can use it freely; the credibility comes from the training you name.
Fees that earn their premium
Montessori settings usually charge above the local average. The fees page shows what the premium buys, still separates funded from paid hours, and still lists extras as voluntary under the 2026 guidance.
Environments, not classrooms
Room pages organised by environment and age band, with the materials named. Parents who chose Montessori want to see the shelves.

How a build runs, start to finish
Four steps. You see a fixed price and a page plan before anything is designed.
1. Tell us about your nursery
Four details in the form. Then a short brief: rooms, ages, fees, funded hours, any software you use, the towns you draw from.
2. You get your quote
A fixed price, a page plan and a live date, within one working day. No call, unless you want one.
3. Design and build
You see a design first. Two rounds of revisions. Then we build every page and connect your enquiry form to your software.
4. Live in 2 to 6 weeks
We handle domain and hosting. You get a written handover and a care plan from £50 a month.
Bring us a look you like, or nothing at all
A competitor's site you admire, a colour, a mood board, a photo of your baby room. We design around it. These six show the range, not the menu. Pick one as a starting point, bring a site you love, or describe something nobody has built yet. You are never limited to these six: we design whatever your nursery needs.

Firefly Nursery
The team designed and developed our new website and continue to work with us on an ongoing basis through their SEO and AI Visibility package. They’re helping us strengthen our presence on Google and across emerging AI search platforms, so more local parents can discover our nursery online. It’s great having one team looking after both our website and our long-term digital visibility.
Oak Tree Nursery
We wanted a website that really captured the warmth and personality of our nursery and gave parents confidence in choosing us. The finished website does exactly that. It showcases our setting beautifully, explains what we offer clearly and makes it incredibly easy for prospective parents to arrange a visit or get in touch.
More enquiries from local parents
Our new website has made a huge difference to our online presence. Parents can quickly understand what makes our nursery special and easily take the next step to arrange a visit. We’ve had fantastic feedback on how professional, welcoming and easy to use the website is.
Questions nursery owners ask
Do parents actually search for Montessori by name?
Yes. "montessori nursery near me" has 1,900 UK searches a month and "montessori nursery london" 140, with a cost per click of £3 to £4 (DataforSEO, September 2026). A page that explains the method and names your training is what those searches land on.
Can we use the word Montessori in our name and on the site?
Yes. The Association Montessori Internationale holds a UK logo mark, not the word, and dozens of live UK marks contain it. You may describe your approach as Montessori; you may not use another organisation's logo without permission.
How do we explain higher fees?
By showing what they buy: trained guides, the prepared environment, the materials, the ratios. Then publish them properly, with funded hours shown free at the point of access and extras voluntary. A parent who has searched the method is comparing on approach, not price alone.
How much does a nursery website cost?
A nursery website in the UK costs between about £1,000 and £6,000 as a one-off build, plus £20 to £60 a month to keep it running. Ours are £1,495 for a single setting of up to eight pages, £2,995 for an established nursery and £5,995 for a group of two or more, with a £50 a month care plan on top. Monthly-only offers from £15 to £40 exist, but you usually rent the site rather than own it.
How long does it take to build a nursery website?
Two to five weeks for a single setting, three to five for an established nursery, four to six for a group. The clock starts when your brief is complete. The slow part is almost always waiting for fees, room details and staff names, so the faster you send those the sooner it is live.
Will our website meet Ofsted and EYFS requirements?
Ofsted does not inspect or approve websites, so no website is "Ofsted compliant" and you should be careful of anyone selling that phrase. What a website can do is show your inspection outcome accurately. Since November 2025 inspections produce a colour-coded report card across evaluation areas instead of one overall word, so we build the section to display the areas and link to your published report.
Do we own the website at the end?
Yes. On completion and full payment the files are yours, as plain HTML with no proprietary platform to be locked into. Domains we register go in your name where the registrar allows it, and transfer to you free of charge whenever you ask, including if you stop the care plan.
Do we have to write the content?
No. We draft every page from your brief and you edit it in writing. Fees pages use your numbers. We will not write a claim, an award or a review you cannot substantiate, and we will say so rather than quietly writing it anyway.
