Read from each vendor's website on 10 September 2026. A March 2026 comparison by Cheqdin put the market at "around £30 per month for basic tools to £200+". "nursery management software" is searched 140 times a month with a cost per click of £41.39 (DataforSEO, September 2026), which tells you how much the vendors value a new customer.
Why the form is the feature that matters
An enquiry that arrives in Famly or Ovivio has a status, an owner and a follow-up date. One that arrives as an email has none, and the third one in a busy week gets missed. Systems with a pipeline also send an acknowledgement, which is the difference between a parent who feels heard and one who has already booked a visit elsewhere.
For a website the test is simple: can the vendor's form be embedded on your own page, styled to match, and tagged with the page it came from? Famly, Ovivio, eyworks and Nursery in a Box pass. For the others a plain form that emails you and exports to a spreadsheet is the honest alternative.
Choosing, in three questions
- How many children? Under 30, Kinderly or Tapestry may cover you for a fraction of the cost. Over 60, the all-in-ones pay for themselves in invoicing time.
- Do you lose enquiries? If yes, the pipeline is worth more than the journal. eyenquiries at £9.99 a month is the cheapest way to get one without changing everything else.
- Are you a group? Multi-site pricing is custom at Famly and Ovivio. Ask for it in writing and ask how enquiries route by setting.
